We Built the Space… Now a Bathroom Is Holding Us Back 💩💩

If you’ve been through downtown Naugatuck, Connecticut lately, you might have noticed something a little different taking shape.

Maybe it was the giant mushrooms in the window.

 

Or the glow coming from inside a space that doesn’t quite look like a typical bar… or a typical store.

That’s 3-21 No Kiddin’—a sober social space on Church Street in Naugatuck, CT—and what you’re seeing is more than a storefront.

It’s a movement in progress.

Built in 33 Days—By Community

What started as a vision quickly became something real.

In just 33 days, this 2,500 sq ft space was transformed by a mix of determination, late nights, and an incredible group of people who showed up to help.

No massive buildout team.
 No drawn-out timeline.

Just:

friends moving fixtures

local support showing up again and again

This space was built by the same thing it’s meant to create:

COMMUNITY

What 3-21 No Kiddin’ Actually Is

3-21 No Kiddin’ is a non-alcoholic bar and functional beverage destination in Connecticut—but that only tells part of the story.

Inside, you’ll find:

 Non-alcoholic beer, wine, and spirits

 Kava and botanical elixirs

 Mushroom coffee and functional drinks

over 100+ options designed for relaxation, focus, and connection

But what matters most isn’t just what we serve.

It’s what we’re creating space for.

This is a place where:

  • you don’t have to explain why you’re not drinking

  • you can meet people without alcohol being the center of everything

  • you can explore better options for your body and mind

  • you can feel like you belong

Whether you’re sober, sober-curious, or just looking for something different, this space exists for you.

A Growing Need in Connecticut

There’s a clear shift happening.

More people are:

  • cutting back on alcohol

  • exploring non-alcoholic alternatives

  • looking for social environments that feel better

But in many places—especially smaller towns—those options don’t exist.

That’s why this space matters.

We’re helping bring a new kind of social experience to Connecticut—one that’s inclusive, intentional, and built around connection instead of consumption.

What’s Coming Next

With the expanded space, we’re stepping into events and experiences that bring people together in new ways:

  • Speed friending nights

  • Sober dating events

  • Networking for local professionals and entrepreneurs

  • Tastings and functional beverage education

  • Community gatherings and themed nights

 A nationwide event we’re proud to host—introducing new flavors, new people, and a high-energy way to connect.

(And yes… that means we’re currently building product and getting everything ready behind the scenes.)

The Final Step: Unlocking What’s Next

We’ve built the space.
 We’ve built the energy.
 We’ve built the community.

Now we need to finish it.

To host larger events and ensure the space is accessible to everyone, we need to build an ADA-compliant bathroom.

So we launched the:

Our goal: $7,777 by June 1st

After 2 days we are at $68 already!
